This Privacy Policy explains how UnnecessaryAF handles information through this website and its Pinterest publishing tool.
Information We Handle
UnnecessaryAF may handle product information, Pin images, image URLs, Pin titles, Pin descriptions, destination links, board selections, and publishing instructions supplied by the account owner.
When Pinterest is connected, Pinterest may provide limited account information and an authorization token needed to complete approved API requests. UnnecessaryAF does not collect Pinterest passwords.
How We Use Information
Information is used only to authenticate the connected Pinterest account, prepare content, create or manage Pins and boards selected by the account owner, maintain security, and troubleshoot the tool.
The tool does not take Pinterest actions unless the account owner selects and approves the action.
Pinterest API Use
UnnecessaryAF uses the Pinterest API. The tool requests only the permissions needed to create and manage approved Pins, boards, titles, descriptions, images, and links for the connected account.
Pinterest-derived information is used only to provide the requested publishing functions to the connected account owner.
Disconnecting Pinterest and Data Deletion
The account owner may disconnect Pinterest by revoking the app's access in Pinterest settings.
After disconnection, UnnecessaryAF stops accessing Pinterest data, disables or deletes the authorization token, and deletes stored Pinterest-derived data associated with the connection promptly and no later than seven days after the disconnection is detected, unless retention is required by law.
No Sale or Redistribution
UnnecessaryAF does not sell, rent, resell, license, redistribute, or share Pinterest content, Pinterest-derived data, or Pinterest API information with third parties.
Data Storage
User-supplied publishing content is kept only as long as needed to operate the tool or until the account owner deletes it. Temporary technical records are kept only as needed for security, debugging, and legal compliance.
Security
UnnecessaryAF uses reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
No Pinterest Affiliation
UnnecessaryAF is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest. Pinterest is a separate company with its own terms and privacy practices.
